A little about me: I am married to my college sweetheart, we’ve got 4 energetic kids (3 boys, 2 are twins, 1 girl).  We’ve lived all over the country- 5 states in 12 years, and no, my husband is not in the military. I have a degree in Elementary Education and taught first grade for several years. I got into photography initially as a hobby since I wanted to capture my own kids’ portraits.  Over the years I’ve done dozens of photography classes and hundreds of hours of practicing and refining my skills and style, updating my equipment and eventually my little photography business was born. (Say hello to my 5th child…)

I have always loved photography since I was young, back when you had the Kodak disposable cameras and real film (eee, gads!) I am passionate about capturing moments and memories that are important to you.  My style is bright and colorful and I like to give my clients a mix of posed and candid photos that capture the relationships with those you love best! I know how stressful photos can feel. My goal is to make them FUN and capture genuine smiles from all involved. I’ve got lots of tricks up my sleeve to get smiles out of cranky babies, moody teens, grouchy husbands and everyone in between.  I look forward to working with you!
